Event Summary

The National Guard Association of the United States (NGAUS) General Conference is the annual business meeting for the National Guard Association, bringing together Army and Air National Guard officers from all U.S. states, three territories, and the District of Columbia. This event serves as a platform for networking, setting legislative agendas, and hearing from top civilian and military leaders. This year’s theme, “The National Guard: Built to Defend America,” emphasizes the National Guard’s mission and identity. Key speakers include Gen. Randy A. George, the Army’s chief of staff, and Gen. David W. Allvin, the Air Force’s chief of staff. Over 2,800 participants have already registered, surpassing last year’s numbers by over 600 attendees.

BOOTH DETAILS:

SGS will participate as a part of the Small Business Hub within the Boeing Exhibit on Saturday, 24 August from 12-4 PM CT. Come see us in their booth, located at #2218, from 12:00 – 4:00 PM CT on Saturday, August 24. We will feature a demo of SGS’s Digital Maintenance Advisor (DMA), an explainable AI modular software solution to support readiness from air to sea to ground and space.

Emily Farkas

Emily Farkas is a business development representative for SGS. She honorably served as an aircraft maintenance officer for 25 years, culminating her career at McConnell Air Force Base, Kansas, as the 22nd Maintenance Group Commander leading over 1200 Airmen to maintain the KC-46 Pegasus and KC-125 Stratotanker. She is currently the President of Emily Farkas Consulting, LLC, where she continues to bring her unparalleled expertise to the forefront, supporting government and defense organizations in their quest for logistics and management excellence.
