SparkCognition Government Systems’ Logan Jones Nominated to FedScoop’s Best Bosses in Federal IT
Logan Jones, President and General Manager of SparkCognition Government Systems (SGS), is a finalist for the 2022 Best Bosses in Federal IT award. The winners are decided by a public vote, which is open through May 20. Winners will be announced June 8.
This award is designed to recognize leaders in the FedTech community and their achievements from the past year. We are honored to have Jones recognized next to some of the industry’s leading names.
Jones has over a decade of national security and defense experience in the U.S. and globally, in which he’s worked extensively with the DoD and with commercial defense companies. He is the former Vice President and founding member of the largest aerospace venture fund and innovation group, Boeing HorizonX (now AEI HorizonX). Jones brings more than just his extensive experience to SGS–he has contributed thoughtful and inspirational leadership, which permeates throughout the entire organization.
In his entire career, Jones has been committed to driving innovation across government. At the helm of SGS, he leads his team on delivering cutting-edge technologies like AI, machine learning, natural language processing, and visual AI to ensure mission readiness in the digital era. This commitment manifests in Jones through creative problem solving, a drive to understand the challenges our customers face, and his desire to always learn more. His leadership is critical to the success of SGS, and guides us towards achieving our mission of delivering proven commercial AI to meet the most critical needs of government and national defense organizations.
FedScoop’s Best Bosses in Federal IT finalist list is sourced from community nominations, and winners are selected through a public voting process. Jones is accompanied by other innovative leaders across government and defense, including John Sherman, CIO, Department of Defense, Michael Brown, Director of Defense Innovation Unit, Defense Innovation Unit (DIU), and CIO/CDOs across all branches of the military.
